S.P. Public School was started in the year 1985 under the aegis of Sanskrit Pathshala Samiti.

Sanskrit Pathshala Samiti was founded on 9th August 1905 by few great visionary of Sadar Area. Late Lala Chedi Lal ji Agarwal donated his own house situated at Kallumal Marg in the year 1917 for social service, to start a Primary School for teaching Hindi and Sankriti. Late Shri Lal Mani Agnihotri was the first teacher of the School.

Due to the untiring and selfless effort of members of Sanskrit Pathshala Samiti, this seed blossomed into a full grown tree. In 1973 one lakh square feet of land was acquired at Mangal Pandey Marg and a vast campus was built on this land to house the S.P. Public School.

Sanskrit Pathshala Samiti opened Sanskrit Pathshala Degree College affiliated to Lucknow University in the year 1999.

All these schools are run and managed by Sanskrit Pathshala Samiti. In this registered society, there are 15 elected honorary, competent, hard-working and experienced members who help in the development of these institutions by devoting their valuable time. This school is a place where we nurture and enrich young brains by providing an environment which cultivates and enchances the child's own natural desire and ability to learn and develope his/her personality.

Children are encourged to take part in extra curricular activities, we offer high quality curriculum which leads to overall development of children. We provide a strong foundation to each child and help to prepare him/her to become an independent individual who will be a responsible citizen of our country.

We provide a big play ground, playing material, library, computer education, activity room, medical aid and pure drinking water. This is the way we try to maintain the standard of our school at a convenient and affordable fee structure so that it is always one step ahead of others.
